Script
Ten years after the end of the world, the skies were no longer blue, and the earth had long since turned to dust. Civilization had crumbled—only broken towers, leaning poles, and silence remained. In the middle of this desolate land stood a girl in a white dress. Her name was Ina, seven years old, barefoot, and holding a paper airplane in her hand. It was the last gift her mother gave her before disappearing—folded clumsily from an old notebook page, with faded ink across the wing: "One day, we’ll fly too." Today was Launch Day. The final rocket to leave Earth was set to rise, carrying humanity’s last hope to a distant colony on Mars. Only a few were chosen. Ina wasn’t one of them. She knew that. Still, she came to watch. A low rumble broke the quiet. Then, fire. The rocket tore into the sky, trailing smoke like a scar through the clouds—fierce, beautiful, and impossibly far away. Ina didn’t cry. Instead, she lifted her arm and released the paper plane. It wobbled in the dusty wind, climbing a little, then falling—never meant to soar, but thrown with hope anyway.

Ten years after doomsday, the sky was soot, the ground, powdered ash. Where cities once sang, only broken towers whispered. Alone there stood Ina, age seven, barefoot, white dress like a ghost of summer. She clutched her mother's last gift: a lopsided paper plane stamped, 'One day we'll fly too.' Today was Launch Day—the final rocket bound for Mars. Ina wasn’t chosen, yet she came to watch hope leave. Engines roared, fire blossomed, the rocket carved a bright wound through the clouds. Ina didn't cry. She lifted her arm and released the plane. It fluttered upward, faltered, then drifted down—never meant to reach the stars, but thrown with faith.
